When a loan or account is transferred or sold to a different servicer, it can appear as two separate accounts in Piere – one for the old servicer and one for the new one. Users would benefit from being able to merge or combine these two accounts into a single unified account, preserving the full transaction history from both. This would also be useful in other scenarios where two accounts represent the same underlying financial product (e.g., after re-linking a bank connection that creates a new account record). A merge/combine feature would keep the account view clean and transaction history intact.
