Users would like the ability to manually designate which accounts contribute to the “Savings” total displayed on the dashboard, regardless of account type. For example, a checking account used primarily for saving (such as an investment app’s cash account) would ideally count toward the Savings figure. Currently, only accounts classified as Savings under Banking contribute to this total. Allowing users to opt specific accounts in or out of the Savings dashboard total would give a more accurate and personalized view of their saved money.
