When a user edits or recategorizes a budget category, the change currently only applies to the month in which the edit is made. There is no way to apply the updated category to past months without manually editing each one.

This request is for a “Recalculate Budget” option (or similar) that would allow users to apply category changes retroactively across all months – or at least across a user-selected date range. This would ensure that historical budget data stays consistent after edits, and would save users significant manual effort when reorganizing their budget categories.
