It would be useful to be able to split a single transaction’s amount across two or more categories – either manually or via a transaction rule. Currently, each transaction can only be assigned one category. For example, a grocery store purchase that includes both food and household supplies would ideally be split between “Groceries” and “Household” categories. This would make budgeting and spending reports more accurate without requiring manual workarounds.
