Treasury Direct (treasurydirect.gov) is migrating its login system to ID.me for identity verification. This change has broken automated aggregation through data providers like Plaid, as ID.me’s verification flow is not compatible with standard bank connection methods.

Users are requesting that Piere support Treasury Direct connections once the migration is complete and Plaid has updated its integration to handle the new ID.me login flow. This would allow users to track their Treasury securities (I-bonds, T-bills, etc.) alongside the rest of their financial picture in Piere.

For now, users can track their Treasury Direct balances manually using a manual account in Piere while the provider-level integration catches up.
